Multimillionaire Instagram playboy Dan Bilzerian has spent $100,000 on lottery tickets - and promised to share the winnings with his fans.

The 34-year-old pleasure-seeker is notorious for sharing pictures of his glamorous lifestyle with his 15.2million followers on the social network.

The US is currently caught up in the lottery fever with an estimated £1billion jackpot set to become the largest in history.

And Mr Bilzerian has got in on the act, buying 100,000 tickets for $100,000 (£70,000) and giving his followers a chance to cash in.

Alongside a picture of a huge wad of bank notes, he posted : "Buying 100k lotto tix.

"I'm gonna give you boys a free sweat, tag 3 friends and I'll pick 5 of you guys and give you and your friends a million each if I win."

A few hours later he posted a picture of an enormous bag of tickets, with the comment : "I hope my assistant took his Adderall today, this may take a while..."

Both posts received hundreds of thousands of likes in just a few hours.

Mr Bilzerian, a bearded part-time poker player, is thought to have become rich thanks to a trust fund his Wall Street trader dad set up for him.

Just one lucky winner is thought to have scooped the record-breaking $1.59 billion US Powerball lottery jackpot .
