Move over selfie stick - the SELFIE MIRROR is the only way to take the perfect snap
Because the selfie mirror is the brand new, all singing, all dancing way to take a picture of yourself.
The product has been developed by Smart Ltd who plan to take the mirror to the open crowdfunding market, in the hope that they will be the first to enable the world to take 'hands-free' selfies.
In the promotional video, a voice explains: "Our homes are comfort zones, where we play, relax, listen to music, and hang out with family and friends.
"What if all that could be enhanced with technology - a modern smarthome in which an ordinary mirror becomes a portal to smart tech, home security and professionally lit photography?"
Pictures and videos taken on the mirror can be uploaded straight to social media sites, or YouTube and built in speaker systems mean you can also listen to your favourite music while you snap away.
The device can also be used as part of a home surveillance system with two-way communication options and a motion sensor that sends CCTV footage directly to your mobile phone.
It is not clear whether the mirror supports Bluetooth or WiFi, although adverts for Twitter, Facebook and Skype all suggest the device will have to have some kind of sophisticated internet capabilities.
If you fancy getting your hands on one of the selfie mirrors, you can pre-order one atwww.selfiemirror.me for $250 (thats £165) for a 27 inch by 47 inch frame.
A smaller version measuring 27 inches by 31.5 inches is set to retail for $200 (£132) although no firm release for the product has been set.
It is thought the product will be funded by Indiegogo although pre-orders are currently listed through trycelery.com .
