PHOTOS: Britains fattest man dies at age 33

Britain's fattest man, Carl Thompson has died. The 33 year old (pictured right in his home in May) had been confined to his home in Dover, Kent, for more than a year, relying on carers to bathe him after being unable to move around on his own due to his 65 stone weight.

Carl (pictured left as a young boy) said he began eating heavily as a means of coping with his grief after he lost his mum in 2012. He pleaded for professional help and vowed to shed weight after being told by doctors his ill-health would kill him. Unfortunately, he died this morning. RIP
